Mysterious Injury To Rule Out Walcott For 18 Months?

Theo-Walcott

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he is not sure for how long more Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will be out for, or exactly the type of injury the English man has. Walcott was penned in to play for the gunners yesterday against Stoke city at the Emirates before an injury he couped during warm up knock him out of the team.

And Wenger said: “He had an abdominal muscle problem, I don’t really know what it is.

“Nobody can tell me whether it is just a question of days.

“He had a test before the game and I decided to play him but he had a little problem before the Marseille game (last week) and it then became a bit worse.

“It’s a bit mysterious, because we don’t really know what it is.”

Although from the look on the player’s face yesterday, the injury doesn’t seem like a serious one but the last time a player got a supposed mysterious injury at Arsenal, he never returned to action until 18 months later. It would be recalled Rosicky got a similar mysterious injury couple of years back and never returned to action until 18 months later.
